DESIGNER,
DEVELOPER &
MAKER OF
THINGS.

Portrait of James T. Rogers

I design and build things for the web, run a small design studio, and maintain an unreasonable number of side projects.

Make yourself at home
A PERSONAL CORNER OF THE INTERNETDESIGN / CODE / EVERYTHING ELSE

Designer, developer,
business owner, reader,
beer drinker, cat servant,
occasional over-builder.

I’ve been making things for the web for more than 20 years.

Long enough to remember slicing Photoshop files into tables, and apparently not long enough to stop learning entirely new ways build websites.

I run WebInke Design, make things for myself when I probably should be relaxing, and generally believe the best solution is usually the simplest one that actually works.

Outside of that, there are books, breweries, cats, coffee, and whatever rabbit hole I’ve wandered into this week.

01 / Origin
Graphic design first. Web design happened somewhere along the way and never really stopped.
02 / Home Base
Southern California. Born here, raised here, and still finding plenty of reasons to stick around.
03 / Default Mode
Curious. Usually building something, fixing something, or wondering if there’s a better way to do it.
04 / Offline
Books, bookstores, breweries, coffee, cats, and occasionally remembering to stand in the sun.

Things I’m
working on.

A few different outlets.
The same curious person.
